February 2022As we continue to work through these tough times, there are still plenty of things to do at the beach. Taking walks on the beach with your loved ones is a great social distancing activity with Valentine’s Day just around the corner. What a perfect opportunity to stay at the beach. This is the perfect time of the year for storm watching and beachcombing. One never knows what they may find on the beach after a storm. There can be many treasures, such as driftwood and glass floats. During the month of February, there are proposed clam tides at both the North and South Beaches. Dates include: Proposed Tides Feb. 15, Tuesday, 6:09 P.M.; -0.3 feet; Long Beach, Mocrocks Feb. 16, Wednesday, 6:42 P.M.; -0.4 feet; Long Beach, Copalis Feb. 17, Thursday, 7:14 P.M.; -0.3 feet; Long Beach, Twin Harbors Feb. 18, Friday, 7:45 P.M.; -0.1 feet; Long Beach, Twin Harbors, Copalis Feb. 26, Saturday, 3:18 P.M.; 0.0 feet; Long Beach, Twin Harbors, Copalis Feb. 27, Sunday, 4:16 P.M.; -0.4 feet; Long Beach, Mocrocks Ocean Shores is also hosting the Renewed Antique Show the Weekend of February 19th and 20th.
